The Gannel Estuary is tidal and has a large variety of wildlife. It is home to some 5,000 birds including egrets, herons, godwits and greenshanks. The surrounding area contains historic bronze and iron age settlements.
 

• At the Quintrell Downs roundabout go straight ahead. 
• Follow the road for about one and a half miles.
• At the next roundabout (with Safeways on your right) carry straight on.
• Carry on for approx 1/4 mile to next roundabout and turn right.
• Follow the A392 Trevemper Road to the next roundabout opposite the boating lake.
• Go straight ahead keeping the Gannel Estuary on your left.
• We are situated about 300 Metres along on the right.
